Mid control added to rear of amp. All the way off it is at the stock value on a princeton move it clockwise to add mids.
Stokes Mod: Relocates the phase inverter's power supply from the shared preamp node to an unused anode/power rail in the filtering circuit. This prevents the phase inverter from pulling down the voltage, giving the power tubes a clean, full-strength signal.
Paul C. Mod: Converts the phase inverter tube circuit from cathode bias to fixed bias. Combined Impact: Working together, the Stokes and Paul C. modifications dramatically increase clean headroom, low-end depth, transient response, and overall output clarity.
Tone Stack Upgrade: Swaps stock parts for higher-grade metal-film resistors and WIMA/MLCC capacitors to optimize circuit efficiency and response.
Grounding Scheme Revision: Updates the grounding layout to reduce hum and improve amp stability when pushed into overdrive.
