​LT Sound TVE Model D-2 Analog Vocal Eliminator / Processor

Up for sale is a classic LT Sound Thompson Vocal Eliminator (Model D-2) analog audio processor featuring its original wood-grain side panels. A fantastic piece for vintage audio enthusiasts, home studios, or retro karaoke setups! ​This unit has been fully bench-tested and verified working. ​

Features & Test Results: ​

- Phase Cancellation: Tuning, Level, and Delay knobs are responsive, allowing you to dial in stereo tracks to drop out center-panned lead vocals. (Note on Delay knob: A very miniscule scratching sound and minor volume jump occasionally occurred when first turning it during testing. This appears to be minor contact buildup from age; it cleared up with use, but I cannot guarantee it won't pop up again over time).

- Equalization Section: Pre-bass, Bass, and Treble controls operate to reshape the low and high ends of your mix. ​Source / TVE Switch: Allows for instant A/B comparison between the raw source audio and the processed signal. ​

- Microphone Input: Tested and verified; mic pre-amp successfully passes live vocals over the backing track .

- ​Power: Hardwired 117V AC power cable is intact and ready to plug in. ​Verified Test Path: ​RCA Bluetooth adapter (3.5mm out to dual RCA) -> TVE Left/Right IN -> TVE Main OUT -> Mackie CR3.5 Active Studio Monitors -> ATH-M40fs Studiophones (plugged into monitor headphone jack), with live vocal overlay via TVE 1/4" Mic Lo port. ​

Codition & Cosmetics: ​

- Condition: Fully tested and operational as described above. ​Cosmetic Condition: Good vintage condition overall. Please note that the paint/finish on the wood side panels is not fully intact (as clearly shown in the photos), and the screws on the back panel exhibit natural surface rust/patina consistent with age. Please review all photos for exact cosmetic details.
