Kala Tenor GTR-SSMHG

This is Kala's excellent tenor guitar, the SSMHG model has Solid Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. With a scale length of 21.5" and an overall length of 32.0" is very playable and still very portable. It comes with a well-padded branded gig bag. It has a satin finish with a classic slotted headstock, ivoroid binding, ebony fingerboard and a bone nut and saddle. The D’Addario low tension strings make it easy to play for extended periods while adding depth and richness with a touch of warmth that balances the brightness of the small body. It is tuned to a standard CGDA for tenor guitars. The guitar can be played in standard (CGDA), Irish(GDAE) or Chicago(DGBE) tunings; however, you may need to change strings - please consult the KALA site for more information.

This guitar is in like new condition, there are no blemishes, dents or scratches. The tuners were recently replaced with brand new Kala tuners and the guitar was recently restrung with D'addario Tenor Guitar EJ66 80/20 Bronze (10-32) strings. The truss rod moves easily and the action is low. This is a fun guitar to play and will stand out in the mix when playing with other guitarists.
