This is a beautiful example of a 1964 Gretsch Tennessean 6119 in Walnut, 100% original, including the case. The Chet Atkins Tennessean model 6119 was introduced by Gretsch as a lesser expensive entry into their professional line of instruments. The Maple neck has a bound Brazilian Rosewood board, zero fret and thumb inlays. The frets and board show no wear. The layered Maple hollowbody has painted f-holes, a pair of HiloTron single coil pickups, bound top, unbound back. The wiring is Gretsch’s Tone-Switch Circuit #3 with standby: Ft upper switches are #1 pickup selector, #2 Mstr 3-way tone, lower Ft is mstr volume, lower rear are Ft p/up volume, RR p/up volume and standby. Knurled “G” knobs, CA Tennessean pickguard, floating bridge with original Bigsby.  The binding on this guitar is in very good condition showing only a few areas of discoloration, and surface lines. See pics.  No missing binding. The Walnut finish shows “straight line nitro-checking”, neck and body show some small pings, nicks and scratches. Gorgeous guitar with no neck or laminate separation, cracks or any structural issues, electronics are clean and work perfectly. New set-up, everything holds, plays and sounds great.   Thanks!
