Vintage Korg Poly-800 synth from the early 1980's. The Poly-800 was originally created by Korg to compete with the Roland Juno series and it features a digitally DCO oscillator with a fully analog filter. This synth really shines with making lush full pads, and the Poly-800 features 2 polyphony modes: Whole mode offers 8-voice polyphony with one DCO per voice, while Double mode places the DCOs in pairs for a richer sound. This is the early version of the Poly-800 and it does' not have midi capability.

The Poly-800 features a 49-key non-velocity-sensitive keyboard and a built-in 256-step polyphonic step sequencer.

The volume knob can be a little scratchy if you don't press down the knob while turning it. Cleaning the pot on the volume knob should clear that up. All the keys work as they should as well as the step sequencer and all the synth functions.

It's a great price for an 80's synth with an analog filter and polyphony. It comes with the original power adapter.

Feel free to ask me any questions about the synth or make me an offer.
