For sale is a vintage 1980s Peavey CS-800 professional stereo power amplifier with DDT compression, in very good condition.

The CS-800 is a legendary old-school workhorse known for its bulletproof reliability, rugged construction, and powerful, high-quality sound. Built for demanding professional touring and live-sound applications, these amplifiers earned an excellent reputation for dependable performance night after night.

This amp was purchased new by my father, who used it as a centerpiece of his PA system from the early 1980s to the 2000s—always maintained, well cared for, and serviced as needed.

Peavey’s DDT speaker-protection system helps prevent damaging amplifier clipping by automatically applying compression when the amplifier approaches its limits. This makes the CS-800 an excellent choice for powering passive PA speakers, stage monitors, rehearsal systems, or permanent sound installations.

This unit shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with its age but remains in very good overall condition. It has been tested and operates as expected, with both channels functioning properly. All controls and connections work correctly.
