Vintage Rogers 14” x 5” Wood Snare Drum, Original Hardware, Bread & Butter Lugs

Vintage Rogers 14” Mahogany shell snare drum with original Rogers hardware. A great opportunity to own a genuine vintage Rogers snare with its original hardware and character.

The drum has been completely disassembled, cleaned, and carefully polished. The shell and hardware present very nicely for their age, and everything has been cleaned up while retaining the vintage character of the drum.

Important condition note: 4 of the 8 original Rogers Bread & Butter lugs have cracks. These are the original Rogers lugs, and cracking is a well-known issue with these vintage drawn-brass lugs. All four remain functional, but the cracks are clearly disclosed and shown in the photos. The remaining four lugs are intact.

There is also an old cosmetic finish imperfection/abrasion on the shell, shown clearly in the photos. I have intentionally left this as-is rather than attempting a modern repair or refinishing that could compromise the originality of the drum.
