Up for sale is an original DiMarzio Super Distortion humbucker dating to the late 1970s to early 1980s, made in the USA. Works perfect and sounds awesome! This one is a bit hotter than some at 14.67K. I have read that this is in the normal range for the time period and that batches often varied. The Conductor wiring has been extended.
The baseplate is stamped “DiMarzio Pickups – Made in U.S.A.” It was removed from a vintage Gibson "The Paul" guitar.
