Meinl Generation X 8" Marco Minneman Alien Hats Pair 2000's - Nickel Silver

Up for sale is a rare pair of Meinl Generation X 8" Marco Minnemann Alien Hats.

These are part of Meinl’s older Generation X series and were developed in collaboration with Marco Minnemann. They are not something you see come up very often, especially in the 8" size.

The Alien Hats are unique mini effects hi-hats with a fast, tight response, crisp chick, and trashy/jingly character. They work great as an auxiliary hi-hat, stack element, electronic-style effect, or specialty sound for creative drumming setups.

I know these are not the highest-end Meinl cymbals, but they are very rare and I have personally almost never seen them in circulation. Great piece for a collector, Marco Minnemann fan, Meinl Generation X enthusiast, or drummer looking for a unique effects sound.

Condition

These hats are in very good used condition with normal cosmetic signs of use. Expect typical stick marks, fingerprints, light scratches, patina, logo wear, and other normal cosmetic wear from age and use.

No cracks, keyholing, bends, flea bites, or structural issues unless otherwise noted.
