For sale is a documented 1985 Noble & Cooley Solid Shell Maple snare drum in the desirable 14x7 configuration. Noble & Cooley has confirmed the year and shell specification, making this an early example from the Music Division era.
The drum features Noble & Cooley's renowned steam-bent solid maple shell, original Music Division vent badge, original N&C throw-off, tube lugs, and a beautiful natural amber gloss finish. Serial number 0158 places this among the earliest examples from the period.
The drum is fully functional and in very good vintage condition. The shell is clean and structurally sound, the bearing edges are excellent, and the hardware shows only normal cosmetic wear and patina consistent with age.
