Performance & Operation

Traditional talk boxes rely on the raw wattage of an external amplifier head to shove sound up the tube. The Firefly instead processes the instrument signal internally. When activated, the pedal drives a small internal compression speaker, pushing the sound through the surgical tube into your mouth. Your mouth acts as a natural acoustic filter (shaping vowel sounds like "wah" or "ya-ya"), which is then captured by a standard vocal microphone connected to the venue's P.A. system.
