Trident 5 Channel B Range Microphone Preamp EQ Sidecar 1972 - Custom Racked Rare Vintage Legends Helios

Here are my all-time favorites and I believe the very best preamps ever made. All 5 of these have original Zutt 012 Transformers. You can look up the legendary records done on these from Bowie to Queen to Elton John to Rush, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, endless 70s legends.

I had this custom rack designed, wired, powered by one of the best head techs from VK. The cost of having him do it right was jawdropping (8k) at the time but they sound incredible, were all recapped, total up and down bill of health. Have never had a single problem in 8 years. Rock Solid, no issues to even report!

A real cool thing is the VU works great, registering the input level of whichever channel the knob next to it is pointing at.

The first 2 channels have phantom power switchable on and off. The phase flips work in mic in. There are also line ins. The eq's and all switches work perfectly. In/outs on eqs. The channel cut buttons even work. The foldbacks/auxes are not hooked up. The power supply is top of the line. We really manufactured this setup to be bulletproof, lowest noise, recording studio correct. If you'd like to hear records I've made with these, no problem forwarding links.
