Hello! I'm selling a pair of UTC H25 transformers in a passive box that a fellow Reverb user assembled for me.
Both transformers were manufactured in July 1964. I bought this unit to run stereo mixes through to add some color to my digital productions; needless to say, they sound amazing! Warm, a little 3D, smoother transients.. all the buzzwords.
There's a knob on the top of the unit that changes the impedance of the transformers, going from dark/smooth to brighter/alive. You can get a pretty wide array of tones with this dial!
Selling because I recently bought a tube preamp with input/output transformers and no longer have use for these. I originally paid $450 for this unit to be built, but I'm happy to see it go for $200. Reach out with any questions!
