GML 8200 Series II Dual-Channel Parametric Equalizer with GML 8355 External Power Supply

Offered for sale is my GML 8200 Series II dual-channel parametric equalizer, complete with its GML Model 8355 ±28V external power supply and associated power cabling.

This unit comes from my personal professional mastering studio and has been meticulously maintained throughout my ownership. It has been carefully used in a professional studio environment and remains exceptionally clean for its age, particularly the front panel, controls, knobs and labeling.

Designed by George Massenburg, the GML 8200 has long been regarded as one of the benchmark analog parametric equalizers for professional recording, mixing and mastering. Its combination of precision, transparency, exceptional headroom and musical control has made the 8200 a longtime standard in high-end studios and mastering facilities.

The 8200 remains a current-production professional equalizer today, making this an opportunity to acquire the classic GML hardware at a substantial savings compared with purchasing a new unit.

CONDITION / TESTING

This GML 8200 has been meticulously maintained and is exceptionally clean for its age. The faceplate, controls, knobs and labeling present extremely well, with only minor signs of normal professional studio/rack use.

Tested immediately prior to listing and functioning properly. Both channels pass audio, the left and right EQ sections engage correctly, and all EQ bands and controls have been exercised and are functioning as expected.

I printed both as reference material when I originally purchased the 8200 and have kept them with the unit throughout my ownership. Both will be included with the sale.

This 8200 has spent its life as part of my professional studio setup and is being offered only as part of the process of downsizing my longtime collection of professional mastering and studio equipment.
