Acidlab 8BD — Analog Bass Drum (Eurorack)

Acidlab's 808 bass drum in Eurorack form, built in Germany. Acidlab has spent two decades making faithful analog Roland recreations — the Bassline, the Miami, the Drumatix — and the 8BD puts the 808 kick circuit into a narrow Eurorack panel with proper CV control.

This is the real analog bridged-T circuit, not a sample and not a digital model. The Decay knob takes it from a tight thud all the way out to the long, sub-heavy boom the 808 is known for, and Tune shifts the fundamental well below and above the stock 808 range. Tone shapes the attack click independently of the body.

The two CV inputs are what make it worth having in a rack rather than just using a drum machine: Trig In with a sensitivity control accepts triggers or gates from anything, and Vol CV In gives you voltage control over level, so you can get accented and ghosted kicks from a sequencer with velocity or an envelope.

Condition — Very Good: Fully functional, powered and tested in a working system before removal. All knobs and jacks work correctly, trigger LED responds normally. Brushed aluminium panel shows light handling marks consistent with rack use; see photos. No modifications, no repairs, clean PCB with no damage.
