Overview
Beautiful Fisher X-202 (1X-202) vintage tube integrated amplifier with the original walnut wood case. This unit has had meaningful service completed (with documentation shown in photos), including tube replacements and power supply filter work, then run-tested for stability. It is fully working, bench-tested, and ready to enjoy.
Condition
- Strong overall vintage cosmetic presentation with normal age-appropriate wear
- Faceplate/controls present well (please review close-up photos)
- Original walnut wood case included; presents very nicely with attractive grain
- All functions working as demonstrated (see photos + YouTube demo)
Service & Testing
Recent service completed with documentation shown in photos (dated 12/23/2025). Highlights include:
- Tested all tubes; replaced bad tubes: 7247 x2, 12AX7 x2, 7189 x2
- Replaced leaking filter section C43A+B with two 1000 mfd @ 50V caps
- Checked large wattage resistors in HV/current areas
- Checked other main filters and replaced:
- C46: 10 mfd @ 450V (part of C46)
- C55A: 40 mfd @ 450V (part of C55A)
- C55B: 20 mfd @ 450V (part of C55B)
- Cleaned controls
- 3-hour test run completed; stable and performing properly
- Transformers noted as OK per service documentation
