NEW 6S10 Stereophonic 2x12w with PRISM Stereo line-out

NEW “6S10 Stereophonic” with optional “PRISM” Line Out delivers fantastic stereo sound via two single-ended ~12 watt amplifiers in one DR sized cabinet. The 6S10 Stereophonic is loosely based on the rare ‘62 “6G10 Harvard” but has been modernized to excel in studio, traditional stage volume, and silent-stage scenarios. Controls can be set to match vintage Harvard characteristics.

Each audio half of the 6S10 is fully separated from its complement, with a robust shared power supply. The audio circuits are stereo-matched to each other to allow for excellent stereo behavior, but given their separate individual controls, can be intentionally mismatched to enable flexible effect setups.

Our amplifiers are proudly produced with the best available choices of materials, from the internal components to the custom cabinet and chassis. Our amplifiers are designed with a material and assembly philosophy that honors tradition, while incorporating modern improvements. Internal components selection is performed by an Aerospace Professional to blend traditional characteristics with highest-performance, longest-life available parts. Each amplifier is assembled by a seasoned professional amplifier builder, with experience modifying, repairing, and custom-building.

The optional PRISM (Precision Reproduction Integrated Stereo Module) is fully isolated from the two amplifiers, except at the sample intercept point. “PRISM” uses its own fully separate power supply and uses a Triad output transformer to protect from accidental phantom power. The balanced TRS output of “PRISM” is variable up to +15dBu and can drive signals across 1,000' of balanced cable at pro level while maintaining full audio bandwidth performance from 10-18kHz. Phase and output impedance can be adjusted on the rear per-channel. The noise floor of PRISM is ~7microvolts RMS. (0.000007Vrms), which at full output is a signal-noise ratio of 116dB. Dynamic Range of PRISM is 115dB.

Stereo effects can be routed to each input of the 6S10, or the PRISM can be used to daisy chain into the second input. In true stereo, the PRISM signals can be routed direct to a house system, allowing the player to set the amplifier controls in any configuration, set their stage volume where most pleasant, while providing the engineer or house system with a robust signal.
