Selling my early 1969 Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp. Amp sounds wonderful and was just given a clean bill of health by a great amp tech in NYC. Transformers, choke, tone caps all original. The amp has some mods that any competent tech can easily reverse.
Mods:
- 3 position negative feedback switch: 1-normal, 2-none, 3-double
- Mid controls on both channels
- Extension speaker jack removed for mid pot for Vibrato channel
- #2 input jack removed for normal channel mid pot
- Reverb on both channels
- Dumble mod on Normal channel tone stack
Amp has had usual maintenance to keep it performing strong. New 3 prong power chord, death cap removed, filtercaps and cathode bypass caps replaced, a couple of resistors here and there, etc. JJ power tubes and rectifier tube. I have a full list of transformer date codes and specs from my tech that I can share with any interested party. I also have a bag filled with some of the old caps and resistors I'll include in the sale.
Speaker is a Scumback BM75-LD which I think fills out the midrange nicely with this circuit. Reverb pan is the Surfy Industries Surfy Pan which I think is the best current-production reverb pan on the market.
Local Pickup Only. Message if interested. Thanks for looking!
