Pearl Vintage President 14 x 22 Bass Drum White Tiger Eye Finish All Original Japan Made!

Here we have an amazing 60-year-old time capsule find --  a one owner vintage Pearl President series bass drum from the mid to late 1960s. Highly sought after drum made in Japan. 

The President series was Pearl's first professional series of drums that began production in 1966. This is one of the earliest President series drums as indicated by the natural unfinished interior mahogany wood shells.

Finished in original and highly sought after white tiger eye.

Pearl segmented gold badge. Gold badge President drums indicate production from the 1960s.

Original wrap finish in excellent condition, no re wrap. Non-smoking owner. Kept in warm dry storage for the past many decades and played sparingly since new. Never gigged!

Super clean white tiger eye finish no fading or yellowing. No differentiation in color. Rich consistent color. Tight wrap seam no lifting. No bubbling or defects in the finish. No added holes in the shell, shell is in round.

Shell composition is vertical grain Luan Philippine Mahogany.

All chrome hardware is original. All chrome hardware in excellent condition, brilliant finish. All components are in excellent working order. Bearing edges and shell interiors in excellent condition.

Details and specifications:

Bass drum 22 round by 14 inches. Original hoops with original matching inlay, no missing inlay pieces. Original double tom post mount and rail mount. The rail mount comes with its original factory clear plastic guards for protecting the chrome finish. Original legs and leg mounts with original rubber feet, original tension rods and claws, original lugs. The drum even includes it's original cymbal L arm tilter and mount -- items which are often missing on these vintage bass drums. Original coated heads front and back in very good condition.

This is a classic vintage set of drums in excellent condition that are appreciating annually in value.
