I bought this guitar stock and did a considerable amount of work to it, in order to make it a very good instrument for jazz and fingerstyle:

• Gotoh Tuners are big improvement over stock - they operate so smoothly
• GraphTech Bridge brought out a more articulate tone as well as improving intonation
• Kent Armstrong RagTop P90 neck pick-up really nails that 50's tone
• Pure Tone jack - resulted in an unbelievable improvement in the tone of the P90 - volume wise and brought an enhanced low end

In addition to the above, the fret ends were all filed and buffed smoothly. The fret board has been conditioned. And finally, the guitar is set-up for Chrome 10's and plays great with an action that is 1.75/1.5 low E to high E respectively. The guitar comes from an era when Ibanez was using one piece mahogany construction for the neck and maple laminate for the body. And, rosewood fretboards. Also, I have the original pickguard and bridge.
