Up for sale is a legendary 1980s Mesa Boogie Quad Preamp rackmount preamplifier in good condition.
If you are looking for the quintessential 80s rock and metal rack tone, this is the Holy Grail. The Quad Preamp essentially packs two distinct Mesa circuits into a single unit: Channel 1 delivers the pristine cleans and singing leads of the famous Mark IIC+, while Channel 2 gives you the aggressive, tight crunch and gain structure of the Mark III. Coupled with dual 5-band graphic EQs and real spring reverb, the tonal flexibility is unmatched.
Condition & Maintenance: Fully Serviced: Recently inspected and serviced by a professional tech. Fresh Tubes: Retubed with brand-new preamp valves, tested and biased for optimal headroom and gain. Cosmetic Condition: Good vintage condition. Shows light, normal cosmetic wear consistent with rack mounting and age, but all faceplate lettering, switches, and knobs are clean and fully functional.

Note: The unit is fully MIDI-controllable and can also be switched via standard external switching jacks if the original footswitch is not included.
