I’ve had this one for a while and for good reason. It sounds absolutely amazing! I might regret this one but I can’t keep them all.
This is a brownface Deluxe with the 6G3 circuit.
Fender just reissued these but with shitty PCB boards and other crap components. Here’s the real deal….
This is within the first 1000 of these ever made. This came from a rare transition era with Fender where they used Alnico Jensen P12Q speakers and Triad 8160 power transformers. Probably leftovers from the last tweed Tremolux 5G9 circuit In which the 6G3 shares similar characteristics.
This has been completely serviced and is ready to go.
Long ago someone put tweed era grill cloth on the baffle. This will include a mojotone repro baffle as well with the correct colored cloth.
This will include a repro footswitch.
Pictured is a repro handle. This will actually include the original leather handle and I’ll be keeping the repro.
