For sale is my Fender ’68 Custom Vibrolux Reverb, the highly regarded 2x10 all-valve combo from Fender's ’68 Custom series.

This is the PR 2850 model, serial number B-692171.

A fantastic-sounding Fender with plenty of classic American clean tone, natural valve breakup, spring reverb and tremolo/vibrato. The two-channel design gives you both the Custom and Vintage voicings, making this a very versatile amp for home, recording, rehearsing and gigging.

The amp retains its original Celestion speakers and comes complete with the correct Fender two-button VIB/REV footswitch, plus the Fender protective cover.

Condition

The amp is in good overall used condition for its age, with the usual minor cosmetic marks from use. There are some small scuffs and marks to the black covering/cabinet, but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance.

The control panel, grille cloth, handles and hardware are all in good condition.

I've photographed the amp from multiple angles so you can judge the condition for yourself.

No original box or paperwork is included.

The amp will be supplied with the Fender cover and two-button footswitch shown in the photographs.

Important

This is a substantial valve amplifier, so collection is very welcome and would be my preferred option.

I will make sure the amplifier is securely packaged if a buyer requires delivery. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like to discuss delivery arrangements.

UK DELIVERY: £45.00 via tracked courier. The amp will be very securely packed for transport. Collection is also welcome.

One important point: because this is a valve combo, I'd actually prefer collection in person for a buyer if possible. The ’68 Custom Vibrolux is a fairly heavy, delicate amplifier, and a courier can be much harder on it than you would be.
