1954 Gibson LG-1. True time capsule. Every once in a while, you open a case and just stop and stare. That’s what this 54 LG-1 is like. Not because it’s flashy, but because it’s shockingly well preserved. Professionally reset neck, new bone nut, and saddle Loose brace repaired and it’s been gone over top to bottom. It plays effortlessly with that dry, woody vintage voice. No cracks observed. Original brown Gibson chipboard case is remarkably nice, too. Tuners were replaced years ago with correct style replacements. Originals are included, though two buttons are missing. This guitar spent virtually its whole life with one careful owner, and it shows. If you’re shopping for the cheapest LG-1, they’re out there. But if you’ve been waiting for an exceptionally clean, honest one that still feels special the moment you open the case, this is the one.
