This studio monitor system punches well above its price point. The sub bass unit cleverly has polar opposite directional speakers so they cancel out vibrations to near zero, and allow the unit to sit on the desk undisruptingly.
The Ultra-Nearfield nature of the satellites remove the room from the equation as the optimum setup is designed so that your ears get the sound before it bounces off anything. These satellites sound clean and direct.
The optimum setup is highly configurable as the sub bass unit can be stood vertically or horizontally, and can even be used as an elevation for your display monitor or laptop. Dip switches allow you to find the perfect configuration and DSP settings for your room and desk location. The satellites do need to be approximately at arm's length (or slightly more) from each ear.
Absolutely nothing comes close to the quality and value here for a compact setup. These sound HUGE, like a mid to high $'000s system. You will be surprised.
