Up for sale is a vintage 1977 Schilke MII Silver Bb Trumpet in Good condition. Serial number 27405 confirms this instrument was manufactured during the highly regarded mid-1970s collaboration era between Schilke and Yamaha. Built and assembled by artisan craftsmen at the Schilke shop in Chicago, Illinois, this model features a custom Schilke leadpipe paired with precise Yamaha-engineered valve clusters. It offers a fantastic, responsive play feel and excellent intonation.
Condition Notes:
This trumpet plays beautifully with strong valve compression and smooth, free-moving slides. It has been well-cared for but shows normal cosmetic wear and light surface swirls in the silver plating consistent with a vintage instrument of its age. There is one small, isolated dent on one of the side tuning slides (clearly highlighted in the photo gallery), which is purely cosmetic and does not affect the playability, tone, or structural integrity of the horn.Includes the original hard case.
