Just in case the listing is confusing, these pickups are not on backorder, I wind these by hand after your order them.
Guayaba y Queso Humbucker set from FAV Guitars. This is a medium high output set. The bridge hits an unusual frequency range that sounds amazing. It is a little on the bright side, and the neck pickup is thick and creamy. These were intended for use in Gibson style guitars, however you can hear some audio samples of these in a Strat as well over at the Humbucker Soup youtube channel. While they can work in a Strat, I personally think the intended goal was to sound just like they do in the SG video included on this listing. Once again, just be aware that the neck is somewhat bright and the bridge is somewhat thick and warm. If you want a set that is more closely matched please check out the Rebel series pickups to find the right set for you.
The neck pickup (Queso) is approx 8k and uses a ceramic magnet. The bridge pickup (Guayaba) is just over 10k and uses an alnico 8 magnet.
Thank you for looking, and please consider checking out my other listings.
