Early 1959 Gibson ES-335 long guard in very good condition. Light to moderate normal checking to original finish. Small chip on face of headstock treble side near G tuner is the most noticeable imperfection. Has removed Bigsby with holes not filled. Original white plastic strap buttons. Two PAFs, one is replaced with formerly gold screws, both are double black. Neck pickup has repaired coil by Sayoko Kuwabara and is 7.2, bridge is 8.4. Both pickups have replaced covers. Original stop bar and ABR-1 bridge which has been ground down. Original factory small frets with minimal wear; with 1958 FON beginning with T. No breaks, touchup or structural repairs. Original tuners appear to have original buttons which are in good condition. Original knobs, switch tip, pots and caps. Pots date 44th week of 1958. Lightweight at 7lb 14oz. Come with original 5 latch Gibson hard case.
