FEEL FREE TO REACH OUT TO DRAGGIN' GUITARS in Lawrence KS with ANY questions, or to just chat about the guitar.
Yes! Rickenbacker guitars always look like a piece of Fine Art to me-and nothing is as classy as the formal Jetglo Gloss black finish with white trim. It's just a timeless vibe-one that goes along well with Rickenbacker's reluctance to change much ever since the introduction of their semi-hollow body electrics 65 years ago! If you ever get an opportunity to tour the factory out in California, you can see for yourself-they still build them the same way-not much at all has changed out there. This 360/12 model was produced at the Rickenbacker factory in Santa Ana, California U.S.A. in 2004. The guitar is 100% original and it is very clean and in perfect health. Draggin' Guitars has carefully inspected and fully verified the guitar's authenticity. The guitar has been professionally set up and is ready to go-it needs nothing.
The double cutaway body features the familiar Rickenbacker silhouette. The top has a contoured edge all along the side and the backside edge is bound with a contrasting white binding. The "Cat-Eye" sound hole also has the white binding. The finish is clean thought the front sides and back and shows minimal if any handling evidence. The set-neck construction is expertly executed and the neck joint is flawless.
The neck itself is smooth and straight and the finish is nice and glossy. The neck profile is a Medium-C shape and measures .850" deep at the 1st fret and .962" deep at the 12th fret. The nut measures 1.62" wide. The tuners all function smoothly. The headstock and logo display excellent. The fingerboard is very clean and the triangle position markers look great. The frets are near-new condition. The action is set pretty low for a 12-string; the string height measures .010" at the 1st fret and .060" at the 12th fret. The bridge is fully adjustable so you can raise it easily if you prefer a higher action. The guitar plays great up and down the fingerboard with a soft touch. It is very easy to play.
The original hi-gain pickups have an excellent signal and balance. They have all the jangle, brilliance and chime you'd except from a Rickenbacker. The bridge pickup measures 11.43 ohms and the neck measures 14.86 ohms. This ensures an even balance with the blend knob half way up-it is the factory specs. The controls all function smoothly and quietly.
The guitar has an excellent weight-it weighs just 8.06 lbs. It is very comfortable and fun to play-no shoulder fatigue here! You can play this baby all night long and feel fresh as a flower. The semi-hollow body allows for excellent acoustic properties and the guitar is loads of fun to play on the couch even unplugged. Of course it really comes alive paired with any quality amplifier and rules the stage and studio whenever possible.
Comes with original hard case for added protection and all bonus-rounds.
