When I bought my first VK-7, it needed a lot of work both inside and out. The first thing I did was replace all the fake wood with real walnut. This listing is for a replacement wood kit which is for both end panels as well as the top panel above the keys. The sides and top panel will be crafted out of solid walnut.
After a 5 grit step sanding process, they are hand finished with a dark walnut stain and sprayed with several coats of a beautiful, durable polyurethane top coat. This proves superior to the gooey beeswax and oil finish many sellers are using as a time cutting shortcut.
These are custom made and should be able to build yours and ship within 14 days of purchase, so no long waits for these!
