Widely regarded as one of Ludwig’s finest modern metal snares, the Copperphonic combines a seamless 1.2mm copper shell with Ludwig’s legendary USA craftsmanship to produce a voice that is warm, articulate, incredibly responsive, and full of character. It offers the body and sensitivity of brass with a darker, drier tonal profile that records exceptionally well and excels across virtually every style of music.

Unlike polished copper finishes, the raw copper shell is intentionally left unfinished, allowing it to develop a unique natural patina over time. Each drum ages differently, giving every Copperphonic its own distinctive appearance.
