This listing is for the exact RME hardware shown in the photographs:

• RME HDSPe MADI PCI Express main card, marked “HDSPe MADI Rev 1.1”
• RME Hammerfall DSP MADI expansion board, marked “Expansion Board RME Hammerfall DSP MADI Rev 1.1.2”
• Flat ribbon cable connecting the main card and expansion board

This equipment was previously used in my professional film-scoring studio. It was last used around 2016 and has been stored indoors since then.

I do not recall any operational problems when it was last in use. However, it has not been used or function-tested since approximately 2016, and I no longer have a compatible PCIe/MADI system available to test it.

Because of the length of time since it was last used, its current functionality and firmware status are unverified. I am not representing this card as recently tested or guaranteeing its current operation. It is being sold as an untested item, exactly as shown in the photographs.

The missing MIDI breakout cable is the mini-DIN-to-four-DIN cable used to access the expansion board’s physical MIDI connections.

Physical condition

Both circuit boards, brackets, and the connecting ribbon cable appear physically intact, with normal signs of previous installation, removal, and storage.

I see no obvious broken connectors, severely bent brackets, or visible damage to the circuit boards. This is a visual description only and should not be interpreted as a functional test.

Please inspect all photographs carefully. The photographs show the actual item and are part of the description.

Compatibility

This is a PCI Express card, not a USB or Thunderbolt device.

The buyer is responsible for confirming compatibility with their computer or PCIe expansion chassis, operating system, current RME drivers and firmware, and other MADI equipment before purchasing.

Please purchase only if you are comfortable buying and evaluating professional PCIe hardware that has not been tested recently.
