King 2-B Liberty Trumpet 1952

For sale is a good condition 1952 King 2-B Bb Trumpet, functionally this trumpet is superb and feels great, having been evaluated and ran through our in house workshop. Cosmetically it is eye catching and looks vintage, and is good shape, although showing wear from a long life of use! Nothing you wouldn't expect out of a 1952 trumpet. It still retains about 70-75% lacquer after all scratches and dings.

The bell engraving is still clear as day and is absolutely stunning. featuring signature floral designs.

The instruments inner slides are looking good too, polished and greased to our professional standards. The seals are all good as well (removing the 3rd slide gives that satisfying pop!).

King 2-B is a legendary name in brass, most known for their trombones featured in big bands, and though the 2-B trumpet is lesser known, you can expect the same recognition worthy sound and punch from this instrument.

It has a 4.75" one piece brass bell with gorgeous engravings,  It is a large bore (.458) trumpet, and it comes with a case and lyre!
