DESCRIPTION
The Benge Resno-Tempered Bell Model 3 Flugelhorn is a fantastic example of the craftsmanship that made Benge's Los Angeles-built brass instruments so highly regarded by players. Built built post 1980 -(Serial #38488), this vintage flugelhorn delivers the rich, warm, and lyrical tone that has made these instruments a favorite among jazz musicians, soloists, and ensemble performers for decades.

This horn is in excellent playing condition and has been fully inspected and professionally adjusted by our in-house technicians to ensure it's ready to perform right out of the case. The valves are smooth, fast, and responsive, while all tuning slides move freely with excellent compression throughout. It plays effortlessly with the focused response and beautiful projection that Benge flugelhorns are known for.

Cosmetically, the instrument shows signs of normal use but is in excellent condition considering the age. (see photos)

The instrument includes its original hard case, providing excellent protection for storage and transport.

We ship most of our items in custom-made/double-walled boxes, as many original manufacturer's shipping boxes are not strong enough to withstand multiple shipments, and have already been used at least once to ship to us. Your item may not come in the original manufacturer's box. We do our very best to ensure that your instrument arrives safely and securely. See our feedback for positive comments on how well we ship!

Large Packaged Items such as Guitars, Basses, Amps, Drums, and Keyboards being shipped to Post Office Boxes will incur additional charges.
