Vintage Gemeinhardt M3S (3OSB) Solid Silver Open Hole Flute Offset G w/ B Foot

This listing is for a vintage Gemeinhardt M3S solid silver intermediate model flute in overall good condition. This flute would benefit from a deep cleaning and mechanism to be oiled but does play well to low D with minimal effort. This model features solid silver headjoint, body and footjoint with silver plated keys. There is a fair amount of tarnish on the headjoint (will polish up easily but doesn't polish off with a cleaning cloth) and some light tarnish on the keys that will polish off. The keywork is open hole with Y arms, offset G and B foot with gizmo (aka high C facilitator). The toneholes are drawn and rolled. The pads are older, but in overall good condition. The A key pad has a small tear in the corner but we didn't find any other immediate issues with the pads. The D# key is sluggish and the footjoint needs regulating as this flute has not been serviced in many years. Again this flute plays well to low D with minimal effort and is being sold as-is. Recommendation for COA servicing at a bare minimum. Includes original wooden Gemeinhardt case in nice condition. The joints fit tightly as they could use a good cleaning.
