One of the greatest high-gain amps I’ve ever played. Selling to upgrade to a 100-watt Friedman.
This is Dave Friedman’s compact fire-breather — the little sister to the BE-100. Hand-wired in Los Angeles, 20 watts of EL84 power that punches way above its weight. Tight low end, rich harmonic detail, and serious gain on tap, yet it cleans up beautifully with the guitar volume knob even when the gain is cranked. Takes pedals extremely well and has an ultra-transparent series FX loop.
