For your consideration:

I have a very clean 1956 Gibson Les Paul Special in stunning TV Yellow. I am not sure on the whole story about this guitar. I purchased it from a studio musician out of Nashville awhile back. Although I cant make any promisies, It appears to have all the original electronics. I am not sure if it was refinished at the Gibson factory or what the story is. The headstock veneer looks like it was replaced, I think. Please review the photos and make your own decision. The pickguard was trimmed near the base by the tailpiece. It does have a snake bite mark from a Bigsby previously installed. One of the photos shows shielding in the pot cavity, but that shielding has been removed. The previous owner had the guitar refretted by what he said was a "master luthier in Nashville, TN." The nut has been changed and I have the original and iit will be included in the sale. The new nut on the guitar is not glued and is loose, so you could go back to the original if you so desire.

It will be shipped in an aftermarket hardshell case.

It blacklights perfectly other than a spot right where you would expect to see one by the tailpiece towards the pickup. Please review all the photos and make your own decision and ask questions.
