Here’s a beauty that hasn’t been in circulation for a very long time. This is my main studio amp for the last decade and has its original transformers, tweed, handle, cover, cord, speaker (original cone).

This is the last of my 6 vintage tweeds and my favorite. This vintage beauty been fully recapped and maintained and sounds glorious. Inside the cabinet now is a vintage 1959 Jensen p12p. I’ve had it reconed by Weber last year. The original p12r is included and works and sounds fantastic. Original cone with one tiny repair that was done many years ago. I only switched out the original because the p12p is a little louder and holds the bottom end really well. Many vintage deluxe owners have made that switch because of that little extra volume and maintaining the old Jensen sound.

This amp is dead quiet!!! Vintage glass and all tested and matched. I collect vintage tubes as well so my amp get the best from my vast collection. For studio use I didn’t want a rattling or buzzy amp. I’ve owned and repaired my vintage tweed amps for decades. There is an adhesive tape between the chassis and rear top panel. It can be removed but I make sure nothing buzzes or rattles. The dovetail joint inside the cabinet have been brushed with some wood glue years ago. It’s totally clear visually and if I can crank this up and it not buzz or rattle then thats all that matters to me.

The grill cloth I believe was replaced at some point in its life but I’m not sure. i use a Tele and an SG and love the mic input on the amp. Both channels sound great of course but my taste is the mic channel.
