Vintech Audio 473 is a 4-channel microphone preamplifier and equalizer, heavily inspired by the classic vintage Neve 1073 console strip. It provides up to 70dB of gain and features class-A, transformer-balanced circuitry in a convenient 2-rack-space unit.In professional audio forums such as Gearspace Discussions, engineers and producers broadly agree that the 473 captures the thick, harmonically rich, and warm Neve-style sound. It is particularly praised for delivering excellent per-channel value and is widely favored for overhead drum mics, guitars, and synths.
Some minor scratches around the rack-mount screw area in one corner. Otherwise, had very little use in a small studio. Pristine sound! Recently checked all inputs and they are working perfectly.
