This was refurbished in the past year by a professional who specializes in refurbishing these specific Tascam 4 track recorders. It works great. The unit is very clean. All the functionable levers, faders, work in excellent condition. The tape rollers again were refurburbished to be like new, so you'll be all set.
Adding as an fyi, I run on 10 C Duracell batteries which last long and provided me superb flexability. The adapter is a 15V AC/DC Adapter for the Tascam Porta One. Thanks!
