Recently serviced by Surrey Audio Works, this included mods to reduce the idle noise that is typical to this model - it's now significantly quieter than before. (This involved replacing the "Roach simulator" board and replacing with a traditional opto-coupler roach for the tremolo; and improving how the reverb and tremolo are shared between the two channels. There's also currently a 12AY7 valve in preamp slot V4 rather than the stock 12AX7 to further reduce the idle noise - this is an easily reversible swap.)
