The Audio-Technica ATW-802 Handheld Wireless Microphone System (169.505 MHz, Band T2) is a single-channel VHF wireless microphone system that was designed for live vocals, presentations, houses of worship, schools, and general PA use. It is part of Audio-Technica's System 8 wireless series and has since been discontinued.

Band T2 (169.505 MHz)

The T2 version operates on 169.505 MHz, one of Audio-Technica's "traveling frequencies." At the time it was introduced, this frequency was intended to work throughout most of the United States and Canada, making it a convenient choice for portable sound systems.
