The Gibson 'model Ga5' narrow/wide panel is the transition model between the Gibson Ga-5 Les Paul Junior (1954-1957) and the later Ga-5 Skylark (1959-1961).
This amp was Gibson's direct answer to the popular Fender 5F1 tweed Champ.
This example appears to be made between mid 1958 or early 59.

- Jensen 8j11 appears to be from 61 (probably a factory original or correct replacement as the original GA5 speaker is a jensen 8j11). Superb sounding speaker, matches the amp nicely.
- Original handle in very good condition.
Very good all round condition. Only missing half of the 'n' on the Gibson badge.
Has it's original RCA 5y3gt, Sovtek 6V6gt and original GE 12ax7.
Has been serviced with 3 prong + 2 signal caps.
This thing is an amazing studio tool ! Would also work perfectly in your living room ! Oh, i forgot, get your chance if you have a large bathroom with some extra space :)
