Zildjian 14" trans stamp (type 3) Hi Hat pairing of thin 650/689 gm. Early 1950's. A clean pair with no cracks, flea bites, or dents. The lighter one measures 14-1/4" at the widest point. The heavier one measures 14-1/8". As is typical for trans stamp cymbals, they are not perfectly round to begin with....as width varies by 1/16" to 1/8" around the cymbals. The lighter cymbal has a few small patches of roughness on the edge that you can feel with the finger tip. Very minor and of no consequence. Both cymbals have slightly raised bell hole lips that show some tiny cuts....mentioned only for accuracy.

Last 2 photos show the pair overlapping from above. Once in the stand with any angle applied to the bottom hat, you will always 1/4" to 1/2" of actual playing difference between them, even if they are the identical diameters.

A very nice sounding pair regardless of which is on top....though I prefer the lighter one on top. The heaver cymbal has a brilliant finish so is more cutting/higher pitched than the lighter one. Both are excellent as standalone crash cymbals too. Perfect for old jazz, blues, even early classic rock/pop. For thins they are heavy enough to give a pronounced foot "chup."
