The ProCo RAT 2 with the Keeley 3-Way Mod is a classic distortion pedal upgraded by Keeley Electronics to feature a toggle switch for three distinct clipping modes: stock bass-boosted classic RAT, asymmetrical single-diode "Mighty Mouse" high-volume mode, and 3-diode "Phat Rat" tube-style saturation
Keeley 3-Way Switch Modes
- Position 1 (Stock / Classic): Standard RAT tone with increased bass response from modified capacitors, keeping output at traditional levels.
- Position 2 (Mighty Mouse): Asymmetrical single-diode mode that removes a clipping diode to deliver massive volume boosts and natural gain.
- Position 3 (Phat Rat): Asymmetrical 3-diode mode that adds a clipping diode for a richer, compressed, and more complex tube-like saturation.
