Yamaha "Wayne Bergeron" Model <2nd Generation> Gold Lacquer

[Overview]
Yamaha Custom Bb trumpet, LA model, 2nd generation. Gold lacquer finish. 127mm one-piece yellow brass bell with French bead and side-seam construction. Gold brass mouthpipe. Brass two-piece valve casing. 11.65mm valve bore. Phosphor bronze heavy bottom caps. Fitted with Xeno Artist model parts (water key, piston felts, cap felts). Instrument weight: 1006g. Made in 2024. Accessories: Xeno-logo double hard case (exterior wear, no shoulder strap). New price: 445,500 yen.

[Condition]
Small, shallow corrected dents on the bell flare. Some lacquer loss on the upper valve casing, the inside of the mouthpipe, and part of the inner bell wall. Bore cleaned, all soft parts replaced (genuine, default spec), and serviced/inspected throughout. *A lightweight, ruthenium-plated Xeno-type 3rd slide stopper screw is fitted (the original screw is not included).

[Features]
Breath converts into sound instantly, arriving exactly where you aim without hesitation. This model shines with the kind of easy playability Yamaha is known for, backed by excellent pitch balance and a light, quick response. It reacts nimbly to fine articulation too, drawing out the clear outline of every phrase.

The 2nd generation revises the valve casing structure and adopts phosphor bronze heavy bottom caps. Without losing the LA model's characteristic lightness, this adds density and stability to the midrange. It climbs smoothly into the upper register while keeping the tonal core steady, giving you plenty of headroom for dynamic playing.

The gold lacquer finish is the spec that lets you experience this model's vivid response and direct blowing feel most honestly. A bright, brilliant tone, crisp articulation, and the exhilarating sensation of the sound projecting forward - it picks up on the player's breath and timing instantly and translates it into a sharp, focused sound.
