Digital Audio Denmark AX32 - AX32-CARD-2MADI

Digital Audio Denmark Dual MADI I/O expansion card, part number AX32-CARD-2MADI, in [excellent / like new] condition — including both optical SFP transceivers.

Adds up to 128 channels of MADI I/O in a single expansion slot: two independent 64-channel bidirectional MADI ports at 48 kHz. If you're tying your chassis into a MADI console, a stagebox, a MADIface rig, or a second room down the hall, this card does it without consuming any of your analog card slots.

Both SFP cages are populated with optical transceivers, so this is ready to run on arrival. Most listings for this card are the bare board — DAD sells it without modules — which means the buyer then has to source two SFPs before passing a single channel. Not this one. Just add LC fiber and go.

Fiber also buys you the thing coax can't: long runs between rooms or floors with complete galvanic isolation and total immunity to ground loops and RF. If you're linking a machine room to a control room, this is the configuration you want.

Compatibility: fits DAD AX32, DAD AX64, NTP Penta 720 and Penta 721s, and the Avid Pro Tools | MTRX (the MTRX is the Avid-branded AX32; option cards are interchangeable). DAD's support documentation also lists the Dual MADI card as compatible with MTRX II. Ports are configured and routed in DADman.

Condition:
Pulled from a working AX32 during a studio reconfiguration — functioned perfectly when removed. Handled with ESD precautions. No bent pins, clean edge connector, cages latch properly.
