This Fender FSR Special Edition Player Stratocaster has been thoughtfully transformed into a modern Black Strat-inspired instrument while preserving everything that makes the Fender Player platform so enjoyable to play. Rather than chasing an exact replica, the goal was to incorporate many of the functional elements associated with the iconic Black Strat such an expressive instrument - including the Seymour Duncan SSL-5 bridge pickup, expanded pickup switching, shortened tremolo arm, and improved shielding. The result is an exceptionally versatile Stratocaster capable of everything from classic Strat sparkle to thick, sustaining lead tones and unique pickup combinations unavailable on a standard Strat.

Every modification was chosen for its musical usefulness and installed with care. No routing or permanent body modifications were required for any of the upgrades. Internal photos are included so prospective buyers can inspect the workmanship, along with a Freeway switching diagram illustrating all ten pickup selections.

CONDITION

This guitar is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition and has been carefully maintained since new, and only played to create the demonstration video.

Protective plastic remains on the pickguard, rear tremolo cover, and neck plate, and the original Fender hang tag is still attached to one of the tuning machines. The frets show little to no visible wear, the neck is straight, the electronics are quiet and function exactly as intended, and the guitar has been freshly set up and is ready to play.
