1968 Reynolds Eb Alto/Tenor Horn in Excellent Condition for nearly 60 years old!

This listing is for a 1968 F.A. Reynolds Eb Alto/Tenor Horn in VERY GOOD CONDITION for a nearly 60-year-old horn!

This alto/tenor horn looks good and sounds great!  All valves and slides function perfectly!  Amazingly, the original lacquer finish is still intact on the main brass body of the instrument (albeit with many little dings and scratches along with other aesthetic imperfections that are typical of vintage brass instruments but have no effect on the great sound quality).  The removable brass parts (i.e., the bell, tuning slides, etc.) did not retain their lacquer very well, so they are now polished raw brass, which can be kept looking good just by wiping down the instrument with a towel after each practice, rehearsal and performance.

This high-quality F.A. Reynolds brand-name alto/tenor horn is MADE IN AMERICA (specifically in Abilene, Texas)!  The fit and finish of this instrument is very impressive!  With proper care and maintenance, which includes applying valve oil on a regular basis, this alto/tenor horn can last a lifetime.  I personally recommend using valve oil every time it is played to ensure maximum longevity and optimal performance.

This alto/tenor horn includes the original case, which is fully functional (but shows its age) and an excellent condition mouthpiece (as shown in the photos).
