This is a Yamaha YTS 62 III Tenor saxophone. This is the third iteration of this legendary series produced with saxophonist Dr. Eugene Rousseau.
This tenor saxophone has been recently been serviced: all pads are new. Premium Pisoni Italian pads have been installed.
Needless to say, everything functions perfectly, all notes play easily from pianissimo to fortissimo.
The horn is in excellent shape, with minor scratches from use. There are two places that have minor dings. Pictures 12 and 13 show the close up of them. It is minor, but they are disclosed for transparency.
These dings have absolutely no bearing on the sound of the instrument and are merely cosmetic.
And because these are on the backside of the instrument, they are not visible unless the instrument is flipped and carefully inspected.
